2024 MOTION PROJECT
IBM TECH XCHANGE
IBM TechXchange is an annual technology conference for developers and innovators to see the most cutting edge advancements in software. IBM’s focus this year centered around their latest AI models. We worked on billboard designs to be displayed on the Mandalay Bay billboard on the Vegas strip, enticing techies and entrepreneurs alike.
The design process followed a regimented grid system and brand guideline to ensure the billboard fit seamlessly into IBM’s design system.
ROLE - Designer, Animator
We began by developing a grid system based on IBM’s brand guidelines. The grid is based on the 8 segments of the IBM logo and it became the basis for the entire layout and motion of the elements within the design.
It was necessary to start the process this way due to the unique aspect ratio of the billboard being 976x1336.
